Armed assailants attacked the headquarters of the Frontier Constabulary, a civilian paramilitary force, in Peshawar, police said. Two suicide bombers were involved in the assault.
A senior official told Reuters the first bomber struck the main entrance while the second managed to get inside the compound. Officials cited by Dawn and Geo News reported that at least three attackers and three paramilitary personnel were killed during the incident.
Security forces, including the army and police, have sealed off the area as investigators and emergency responders work at the scene. The incident remains under investigation and details are still emerging.
