Election Day stores closed, reduced hours: J Crew, Patagonia closed

Election 2020: Americans worried about response to election resultsHere are the biggest takeaways from a new USA TODAY/Suffolk University Poll, taken after the final presidential debate.On Election Day, the voting polls are open and so are most businesses since the date is not a federal holiday.The stock market will be open as will banks, and the U.S. Postal Service will deliver mail.But several businesses and national retailers including Best Buy and Old Navy are giving employees the ability to take time off to vote Tuesday and they will also pay them if they work the polls.Best Buy is shortening hours to give employees time to vote for the first time while J.
