Your guests will be arriving in a few hours. There’s a cheese tray chilling in the fridge, and you’re unwrapping a new pack of holiday-themed napkins while some good tunes play over the kitchen speakers. It’s party time—but wait.
You forgot to buy the alcohol.
There’s no time for a grocery run, but just in time to save your summer barbecue, Sam’s Club shoppers can order beer, wine and spirits online and get their purchases in as little as one hour.

While not yet available nationwide, customers in Florida, California and Missouri can use Instacart’s same day delivery for hundreds of Sam’s Club alcohol options including Member’s Mark Sangria, Kendall Jackson Chardonnay, Modelo Especial and Tito’s Handmade Vodka. The service is expected to expand to additional Sam’s Clubs in coming months, the company said in a statement.
“You can select the perfect bottle of wine to complement your dinner or stock up on your favorite beer or spirits for the big game with the convenience of delivery,” Racquel Harris, vice president for Sam’s Club adult beverages said.
Additionally, Sam’s Club has expanded its same-day online delivery of groceries and household items through Instacart to include all U.S. locations.
To purchase alcohol, you can visit Sam’s Club online or use the Instacart mobile app. By selecting the right city and preferred store location, you can peruse a wide selection of beer, wine and spirits.

“By extending our marketplace categories, we’re making it even easier for customers to shop from Sam’s Club for all their needs, from groceries and household essentials to alcohol,” Andrew Nodes, vice president of retail at Instacart said.
Customers ordering alcohol must be at least 21 years old and are required to enter their date of birth at checkout and present a valid ID at delivery time.
