Miss getting a Missoni sweater at Target in 2011? Still mourning the Lilly Pulitzer for Target line selling out in minutes in 2015?
Well, you’re getting a do-over.
On Saturday, Target’s 20th Anniversary Collection goes on sale and offers a second chance to score a designer item from Missoni, Lilly and 18 other brands at discounted prices.
The Minneapolis-based retailer is bringing back nearly 300 of the most popular items from over 20 years of designer partnerships, including Michael Graves, Isaac Mizrahi, Anna Sui, Zac Posen and Hunter. The collection spans apparel, home décor and kitchen essentials, with prices ranging from $7 to $160.
But brace yourself and prepare for another fashion frenzy.

If you’re not an early shopper, you might end up empty-handed again. Or searching eBay, where past Target collaborations items showed up almost immediately, sometimes marked up double and triple the Target price.
In May, when the summer-inspired Vineyard Vines for Target collection went on sale, select items sold out online within minutes. The next day, more than 10,000 items from the collection were listed on eBay.
How to shop the collection
An exact time of when the collection goes on sale online has not been announced, but Target has said it will be “in the early morning hours.” Past sales have started around 3 a.m. ET.
Target stores will open at the regular time Saturday and all will carry the collection. Selection will vary by store, and expect crowds early Saturday morning.
Favorite items in the collection online by clicking on the heart. Then go to your “hearted items” or favorites located in the “my account” section of the website to add to your cart when the sale starts.
Designer collections and items will vary by store, especially with plus size items. Use Target’s online design partner finder to see what brands each location will carry for plus size.
There’s a limit of five of the same items per size and color and items are available while supplies last.
Be aware of the return policy. According to the Frequently Asked Questions on Target.com, the collection has a 14-day return policy instead of Target’s standard 90-day return policy.
RedCard holders get an additional 30 days on top of the collection’s 14-day return policy. Also save 5% on the prices by using the store card.
If an item you want sells out quickly in-stores and online, all hope isn’t lost. Check for returns.
