The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has already done some serious damage to my wallet, but my current motto is “I’m in my mid-twenties, so who needs a savings account?” This is a necessary mentality because there’s still plenty of shopping to do on Nordstrom, and my paycheck was just deposited on Friday.

Today we’ll be focusing on the incredible beauty deals you can still snag until Sunday, August 4, which is when this sale sadly comes to a close, and my finances can slowly finally begin to recover. From cult-favorite makeup products like BeautyBlenders and Mac cosmetics, to sought-after skin and hair essentials by Kiehls and Mario Bedescu, Shayna and I have compiled a list below of all things beauty that you definitely won’t want to miss out on.
1. Mario Badescu The Essentials Set
One of my must-haves while traveling is the Mario Bedescu facial spray. It’s one of the simplest ways to stay refreshed and keep your face hydrated, especially after a long plane ride that you feel gross by the end of. Plus, this pack comes with their famous drying lotion that combats stubborn pimples, and a lip balm to keep your lips extra kissable.
Get the Mario Badescu Essentials Set for $23 (Originally $33)
2. Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Duo
I never jumped on the over-plucking trend the way so many of my fellow 90s babies did in the mid-2000s, so thankfully my eyebrows are still naturally pretty full. Still, when I want more definition, Anastasia Beverly Hills brow makeup is my absolute go-to. The hype around it is so legit, and your brows will look flawless (so long as you watch a couple YouTube videos first, honestly). Thanks to this sale, you can stock up for a really low price, so do it now.
Get the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Duo for $25.00 (Originally $43)
3. La Mer Products
One of the most important things I’ve learned in my years on this Earth is to use a good moisturizer if you want good skin. Unfortunately, this did not really sink in (skincare joke) until recently and it was too late to save myself from all the wrinkles I already acquired. La Mer moisturizer is the cream of the crop (another skincare joke, I’m not sorry) when it comes to moisturizers. One day I hope to join the 2,800 reviewers who gave it 5 stars, but until then, I will dream. For the Anniversary Sale, you can grab La Mer products for amazing prices. Proceed with caution.
- Get the La Mer The Soothing Collection for $360 (Originally $475)
- Get the La Mer Mini Miracles Set for $90 (Originally $122)
- Get the La Mer Creme de la Mer Moisturizing Cream Grande for $1,130 (Originally $1,497)
4. Kiehl’s Lotion
A great lotion is so crucial, and that’s something you learn as you get older. This full body moisturizer from Kiehl’s has just about a thousand 5-star reviews, which is just too good to be ignored. People love Kiehl’s, and now is your chance to see why, and for way less.
Get the Kiehl’s Since 1851 Jumbo Creme de Corps Bottle with Pump for $49 (Originally $78)

5. GHD Black Platinum+ 1-Inch Styler
I’ve owned my GHD for about 10 years now, and it’s just as good as the day back in middle school when I used all my savings to buy it. These world-class hot tools only take a few seconds to heat up, and use smart technology to automatically shut off if you haven’t used it in 30 minutes. No joke, that feature has probably saved me from setting my house on fire at least once.
Get the GHD Black Platinum+ 1-Inch Styler for $166 (Originally $249)
6. Laura Mercier Prime & Perfect Collection
I’m never done with my makeup until I set everything with my Laura Mercier loose setting powder. As I like to say to myself you can “set it, and forget it” with this powder, because you won’t have to worry about your makeup fading away or melting off with this powder. Seriously, it’s pretty much the holy grail when it comes to “baking” your face. As an added bonus, this collection also included a primer and brightening powder to complete the face.
Get the Laura Mercier Prime & Perfect Collection for $39 (Originally $54)
7. MAC Cosmetics MAC Eye & Face Kit
I still remember when I got my first MAC eyeshadows, in the “Wedge” and “All that Glitters” shades. It was so hard to choose just two at the makeup counter, and I honestly should’ve sprang for a palette like this instead, so I could’ve had all the colors needed to do a truly perfect neutral eye.
Get the MAC Cosmetics MAC Eye & Face Kit for $45 (Originally $82)
8. Stila Eyeliner & Liquid Eyeshadow Set
For me (Shayna), eyeliner is probably the beauty product I’m most passionate about, after good moisturizers. I love big, bold, dramatic wings (when I’m not in the office) and an understated swoop for daytime purposes. I’ve tried so many different eyeliners over the years, and while NYX Professional is still my personal favorite (it’s so long-lasting and cheap!), Stila is the only one that even comes close to being as awesome in terms of pigmentation and long wearability. This is a fun set to grab if you’ve never tried Stila before, or if you’re just looking to add to your collection.
Get Stila Eyeliner & Liquid Eyeshadow Set for $20 (Originally $34)
9. Beautyblender All That Glitters Makeup Sponge Set
I must admit, for a long time I didn’t use Beautyblenders—I stuck with the cheapie wedge sponges I always watched my mother using for her makeup—and I noticed a major difference once I switched. You can use Beautyblenders for virtually everything, from cream blushes to liquid foundation and more, and this set comes with a special case, which makes it perfect for travel, too.
Get the Beautyblender All That Glitters Makeup Sponge Set for $35 (Originally $54)

10. Nars Private Paradise Face Palette
You all probably know of the Nars Laguna bronzer, as it’s been a staple in the bags of makeup artists and beauty influencers for years. Why not test it out yourself, along with a peachy blush and shimmering highlight, so you can go full glam while you’re at it?
Get the Nars Private Paradise Face Palette for $42 (Originally $56)
11. The Beachwaver Co. BeachwaverPro Line Rotating Curling Iron
Here’s a curly-girl pro tip, from me to you. Sometimes when I want to add a little more definition to my curls, I actually use a curling iron. I haven’t used the Beachwaver before, but I know of its reputation and I’ve always wanted to give it a try. Perhaps this is the time to finally do it? After all, you can save more than $60 thanks to this deal.
Get the The Beachwaver Co. BeachwaverPro Line 1.25-Inch Rotating Curling Iron for $133 (Originally $199)
12. Too Faced Hangover Trio Prep & Prime Hydrating Set
You don’t technically have to be hungover to appreciate this set from Too Faced, but obviously it’ll help. This features the iconic Hangover 3-in-1 Replenishing Primer & Setting Spray (a must-have in any woman’s arsenal), plus a travel-sized face primer and the Hangover Good in Bed Ultra-Replenishing Hydrating Serum, which will be your BFF when you’re really down for the count. These will help revive and hydrate your skin, a.k.a exactly what you need after a night of heavy partying.
Get the Too Faced Hangover Trio Prep & Prime Hydrating Set for $42 (Valued at $84)
13. Becca Rose Gold Glow Set
Beauty influencers won’t shut up about Becca’s “Champagne Pop,” so it’s safe to say the brand knows its way around a good highlighter. This set features four glowy products that will leave your highlight brighter than my future, to be honest.
Get the Becca Rose Gold Glow Set for $48 (Originally $90)
14. Simplehuman 8-Inch Round Sensor Mirror Pro
This smart mirror is one of the most popular buys of the entire sale (case in point, the tri-fold version of this sold out a while ago). It comes WiFi-enabled and is probably the fanciest 8-inch makeup mirror you’ll ever encounter, but the people say it’s worth it on Nordstrom, so you should snag it at a discount while you can.
Get the Simplehuman 8-Inch Round Sensor Mirror Pro for $150 (Originally $250)
15. Philosophy Purity Trio Set
Of all the great beauty deals you could take advantage of during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, this is the one to prioritize, especially if you struggle with sensitive, acne-prone skin. This award-winning cleanser can help leave skin feeling smoother, brighter, and more balanced, and is formulated to work on all skin types.
Get the Philosophy Purity Trio Set for $55 (Valued at $87)
16. Ouai “Ouai To Glow” Set
Jen Atkin, hairstylist for the Kardashians and the Hadids, is becoming a household name all by herself, thanks to her Ouai haircare line. I love their dry shampoo, hair oil, and just about everything else in this line, so I’m way too excited to try this scalp and body scrub and hair and body oil, and have myself a spa day, all in the name of self care.
Get the Ouai “Ouai To Glow” Set for $38 (Originally $56)
17. PMD Personal Microderm Classic Device
People are going nuts for this device, which essentially helps to reduce blemishes and the sight of really large pores on the scale that say, a dermatologist could. I have no clue if that’s really true or not, but reviewers say it delivers the kind of exfoliation you’d only expect to get after leaving the doctor’s office, and it can supposedly help improve skin’s texture significantly.
Get the PMD Personal Microderm Classic Device for $99 (Originally $159)
18. Wild Hearts The Original Makeup Eraser Duo
This two-pack of cloths might not seem like much, but they’re basically magic. All you need to do is add a little water and they can get rid of mascara, waterproof eyeliner—the works. And at a price this cheap, you can afford to stock up, too.
Get the Wild Hearts The Original Makeup Eraser Duo for $25 (Valued at $40)
