Whether today is payday for you (lucky!) or you just want a distraction from work til you can start your weekend, a little online shopping may be just what the doctor ordered. But that doesn’t mean you need to spend yourself dry. There are always deals and sales happening across the internet, especially on Amazon.

Because we firmly believe that there’s no such thing as a good deal on a bad product, we take extra care in seeking out only the best items at the best prices to help you shop smarter. We look at everything from our own test results and personal experience to customer reviews and price histories to determine the best offers each day.
1. Nearly $100 off: Our favorite affordable mattress
Tuft & Needle makes one of the comfiest mattresses we’ve tested, and we named it the best budget pick among all the DTC brands (think: Casper, Nectar, and Purple, our other favorites!). We found it offers more support than other options, making it great for side and back sleepers. Right now, you can get a pretty sweet discount if you buy one through Amazon. Typically retailing for $595, the Queen is down to just $505.75. All other sizes except the Full also have on-page coupons for 15% off too.

2. Under $15: The best aromatherapy diffuser
Essential oil diffusers are a fantastic alternative to candles. No flame = no fire risk. We’ve tested a lot of diffusers and found this one from Innogear to be the top option. It’s got a larger than average reservoir, so you can enjoy your scents for nearly twice as long as you would with other options. It’s already affordable at its typical $15, but you can clip a coupon on the product page to save $2. It’s not the best price ever, but it’s only about $1.50 more than the lowest price it’s been. Plus, the light changes colors (yes, you get all the colors pictured above), which is just fun as heck. You’ll need essential oils too, and this $10 set of six is a great starter kit to experiment with classic scents like lavender, eucalyptus, and peppermint.

3. Under $60: The most popular Instant Pot
This Instant Pot saw its best price ever on Prime Day. It was only $50, which is huge considering it originally cost $100. It’s otherwise been hovering around $80 the last few months, but it’s currently on sale for $60, the best price we’ve seen outside of Prime Day. And while we’re confident it’ll drop to $50 (or lower) for Black Friday, saving $10 might not be worth the wait for this amazing cooking tool. I’ve had mine for two years and use it at least 1-2 times a week, especially because it’s a great way to cook without turning on the oven or stove in the hot summer nights.

4. Best price ever: An alarm that wakes you up with light
Hate waking up to a blaring alarm every morning? Maybe it’s because getting jolted awake like that is freaking awful. And maybe it’s time you tried using light to rouse yourself more naturally! The Philips Wake-Up Light Alarm Clock is down to the best price we’ve ever seen, $13 lower than its previous best and about $30 less than the typical price. This alarm clock gradually increases the strength of its built-in light to simulate the sunrise and slowly bring you out of deep sleep. One of my coworkers swears by his (see the video above) and says it has improved how refreshed and alert he feels each morning.

5. Under $10: The most genius strainer ever
Strainers are the most obnoxious kitchen tools. They’re always too big, don’t fit in the dishwasher, are a pain to wash, and just drive me nuts. This strainer, however, does things differently and it solves a lot of my issues. It snaps right on to the pot you’re using, making it easier to drain water from your pasta. It’s also half the size, so it fits better in your cabinets and your dishwasher (yep, totally dishwasher safe!). Right now it’s only $10, down from its typical $12 and exactly the right price to make your home life just a little easier.
Get the Kitchen Gizmo Snap-On Strainer (in green) for $9.99 (Save $2)
