Walmart will remove the $35 minimum to qualify for free shipping for members ordering online starting Dec. 4, the company announced Wednesday. The offer excludes grocery items, which still carry a $35 minimum to qualify for free shipping.Walmart+ members can receive free next-day and two-day shipping on items shipped by Walmart. The news comes two months after the retail giant launched Walmart+, a $98-a-year subscription plan membership program that offers consumers fuel discounts and the ability to shop and check out with their phone.“It feels like a life hack is needed now more than ever, and Walmart+ is here to help,” said Janey Whiteside, chief customer officer at Walmart.Last month, Walmart announced its third-quarter profits surged 56%, with online sales spiking nearly 80% after nearly doubling in the previous quarter.Walmart+ is available in 4,700 stores, including 2,800 stores that offer delivery. Open enrollment 2021: You may be able to carryover unused FSA funds of up to $550Climate change: Homes made of sandbags, barbed wire could offer cheaper, safer shelter
