Police in the Bavarian town of Geiselhöring were summoned after a dispute over preparing schnitzel turned violent, Germany’s DPA reported. On Saturday evening a 61-year-old man went to his neighbor’s flat to complain that meat was being pounded too loudly while being prepared for schnitzel. The visit escalated: the visitor allegedly verbally assaulted the neighbor and slapped him in the face. Officers attended the scene and intervened. Reports did not make clear whether the alleged noise took place during Germany’s legally mandated quiet hours, generally from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
