Attack on Frontier Constabulary headquarters in Peshawar

Gunmen have attacked the headquarters of civilian paramilitary force, originally called Fron­tier Constabulary, in Peshawar, Pakistan, police said. Two suicide bombers also targeted the complex. "The first suicide bomber first carried out an attack on the main entrance of the constabulary and the other one entered the compound," a senior official told the Reuters news agency.

A senior official told Reuters the first bomber struck the main entrance while the second managed to get inside the compound. Officials cited by Dawn and Geo News reported that at least three attackers and three paramilitary personnel were killed during the incident.
